So far, I'm feeling good. My doc gave me a host of anti-nausea medication and they seem to be doing their job. I've been able to eat on schedule. I'm SUPER tired, so I'm sticking close to bed today and watching some Netflix. Update 2:05pm - My afternoon meal is telling me something! Chicken noodle … Continue reading The Day After

I started a blog post yesterday explaining the process of how there are quite a few pre-medications they give me before they actually begin chemo. This includes pepcid, zofran, and benadryl. My outside scar is healing very well, but I have to remind myself that the inside is still healing too. My doc says it'll be about 3 months before I'm completely recovered from surgery. (Interesting note: my … Continue reading The New Normal
My port install & first round of chemo is set for Wednesday, January 20. I'm assuming I'm the first case since they are to give me chemo that day via IV, but I won't find out until my pre-op appointment this week. I have a post-op appointment (standard procedure) but it's the day after my … Continue reading Surgery & Other Things
