Round 1 has begun

So far, so good. My BFF came down from NorCal to take me to my first appointment. We celebrated the day in style thanks to our fancy St. Patty’s headwear (that she brought). I have a bunch of stuff to pick up from the pharmacy on my way out, but I’m not feeling as “full” from this chemo than previously. Or maybe I’m just remembering wrong. In any case, I feel pretty good right now. We shall see how the day progresses. Turns out, however, my infusions will be faster than previously assumed, so that’s a definite plus as well. 

This is the first day of the last of the cancer’s life. 

That made sense, right? 🙂

    1. Hahaha. You’re not the first person to suggest it. Every journey is so different, it would be hard to relate to. Like when I first got diagnosed everyone wanted me to talk to someone they knew who had cancer, which I wasn’t interested in, because I was on my own damn journey. Lol. Who knows? Maybe it’ll just be a self help book. 😉

  9. Love you both! But why didn’t you wear our favorite green dress today? 😉 You know I bought one to be just like you… Look forward to a double date in them the next time we’re in the same city. Huge hugs – take good care of yourself – sending ALL OUR LOVE and then some. XOXO
