I find it perfect and ironic that as I was cleaning out my Google Keep this morning, I came across this quote I wrote down some time in the past year. Expectation is hope.

Great quote! I’ve seen cancer patients go to despair and get trapped there. The outcome isn’t good. Glad we’ve managed to stay away from that place (maybe brief visits that left us scared at what we saw).
